Today, Yieldex, Inc. announced the close of an $8.5M Series B investment round. The financing was led by Madrona Venture Group and included new investor Amazon.com and prior investors Sequel Venture Partners and First Round Capital. Amazon.com’s investment comes just a few months after Yieldex, which uses Amazon Web Services including its cloud computing capabilities, won the Amazon Web Services Start-Up Challenge. Yieldex offers solutions to help online publishers manage their advertising inventory to optimally target customers and maximize revenues. The company offers two core products: DynamicIQ which provides advanced forecasting and delivery simulations, and BusinessIQ which enables dashboard access to data, analytic reports and scenario planning. Yieldex plans to move its headquarters from Louisville, Colorado to New York City where the company has an existing office.
