Denver-based Zerista, which provides software for conferences and trade shows, announced that it has raised seed funding. The size of the round, which was led by Kickstart Seed Fund and participated in by previous investors and management, was not disclosed. Zerista’s product enables more interaction between conference attendees and exhibitors before the conference to facilitate more productive interaction at the event. Product features include social networking, communication tools, personal scheduling, and venue and area mapping. Zerista, which boasts among its customers the 2008 DNC as well as the Great American Beer Festival, did not reveal specific plans for use of the proceeds.
