Gold Systems announced today the release of the Gold Systems Conference Server designed to save companies money compared to traditional conference call services. The new product, which uses Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, provides on-demand conference calls and can be run on a company’s standard servers. Costs per minute on the system – which requires only a network connection and power for installation – are as low as $0.03 per minute, a fraction of the cost of using traditional providers. Depending on conference call volume, the system’s payback period may be as little as one month and is usually less than six months. The new system requires no user adaptation, providing for all traditional conference call tools including 800 numbers and pin number access to calls. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Gold Systems is focused on providing voice-driven and unified communication solutions for companies.
