Rebit Inc, a maker of backup solutions for PCs, announced that Paul Guerin has been named the company’s Chief Excutive Offer. Most recently, Guerin served as CEO Jabber, Inc, which provided messaging and presence software and was sold to Cisco in 2008. Guerin also brings experience from many other startup and established technology companies including IBM and Lotus. Based in Longmont, Colorado, Rebit has received critical acclaim for the simplicity of its backup solutions that allow PC users to backup data and applications by plugging a Rebit device into a USB port.
